The work of the knowledge industry requires a whole range of interactions:

- an increasing one with digital surfaces & wireless connectivity,

- an up-and-coming one with a responsive environment through intelligent surfaces,

- a beneficial one with other users to reinforce a team-based type of working.

The e-FLOWER addresses these issues in the context of a loft-type office space. It grows around one or several hearts (or hubs) fixed into space and dedicated to digital networking.

The e-FLOWER is a modular and movable system composed with five petals that can remain isolated or gather around the hub creating a work-based community.

The e-FLOWER includes intelligent responsive surfaces, like the central dome/sensor of the hub, that activates the start of each computer and that regulates the LEDs under the inflatable roof.
