The project called “Azure” is the refurbishment of the BNP Paribas Wealth Management private bank located next to Monaco harbour, Port Hercule. The interior design proposal and name are both influenced by Mediterranean themes such as azure (where sky, sea and clouds meet), natural light (captured and filtered through screens or curtains) and maritime abyss (where the future vault is located).
The boutique-bank is entirely reshuffled. It includes:
- a spectacular reception area made out of blue marble screens playing with confidentiality, lights and shadows.
- ten private meeting rooms with white leather walls and stuccoed ceilings opening up onto the harbour
- the mysterious vault (hidden place full of dramatic play of lights)
- finally some optimised workplaces for 150 staff (creation of open spaces and increase of ceiling heights).
