As part of the Foster + Partners office, Gilles Delage was in charge of the conception and the design development of the housing building 3a located near the pedestrian axis linking the Ellipse masterplan to the mixed use development of Santa Giulia.

The building is designed to accommodate single level accommodations, including 1, 2 or 3 bedroom flats with generous terraces. All flats have an underground car park, a storage room and a secured entrance to the central private park. The building is designed as a playful cubist game of boxes with retractable awnings in reference to the traditional shading element of the Italian architecture.
